This extremely rare limited edition for just twelve silkscreen prints features the code that Stuart Semple wrote to generate his well-known series of LOVETONE works.
The LOVETONE works featured over 16 million unique colours that made up one unique colour.
Continuing this series of print works this series of silkscreen prints features actual code behind those works.
Semple explains “There’s something inherently beautiful about code. And the LOVETONE code is something special. I love the idea that something so monochromatic can generate so much colour. I’m fascinated by making the digital into something physical. To me code is art”.

AN EXPERIMENT TO CREATE THE WORLD'S MOST COLOUR-FULL COLOUR
Lovetone appears as a mid-grey square, but in fact, it contains more unique colours than any other swatch ever printed.
LOVETONE is generated using a custom code that Stuart Semple wrote, producing over 16 million completely different colours.
The code then plotted those colours randomly on a grid. Producing Lovetone.
To the naked eye, it appears as a grey colour swatch, but on closer inspection, a whole universe of colours opens up.
